Not only the technique Vinckboons used to create a tunnel vision throughout the dense trees into the light yellow skies in the background, but also the details he used to decorate the figurative forground with are inspiring. The work may not be one of the best known out there, but we cannot forget that David Vinckboon has shown to be an incredibly talented painter, for whom we should be proud as Flemmings.
