Port-Manech - Henry Moret

Henry Moret may not be as famous as Gauguin or Monet, but he still was an excellent painter. He painted Port-Manech in 1896 in Port-Manech ( Névez on the south coast of Brittany . Since 1948 it has been part of the collection of the Hermitage in St Petersburg. One can stare at the work for hours on end, it is simply that beautiful. The picturesque landscape warms one’s soul.
